Dr. Ormsby has been practicing dentistry since her graduation from the SUNY Buffalo College of Dental Medicine in 1980, where she was one of only ten in her class to graduate with high distinction, and was elected into the prestigious OKU honorary fraternity.
Her strong emphasis on education and new technology led her to acquire medical/dental training at the Buffalo General Hospital.
She is a graduate of the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida in advanced restorative dentistry. This is a unique five year experience completed by dentists from around the world. Fewer that 5% of American dentists have achieved this level of education.
She has shared her knowledge with other dentists while serving as a teaching assistant at the L.D. Pankey Institute.
She continues to collect three times the required continuing education hours each year. She has been at the forefront of the rapidly changing field of dentistry, with working knowledge in the areas of orthodontics, TMJ dysfunction, full mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic, non surgical periodontics and dental sleep medicine.
